High Speed Snail and Other Stuff!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

Guess wot?

It was raining this morning!

After such a long time with loads of sun it almost makes a change to get wet while out walking, excluding going for a swim!

In fact, it was so wet the Old Two Legs left the camera in the car, so no pictures of us lot getting wet!

However, when we got back to the car there was a snail starting to crawl up the windscreen, on the outside!

Speedy Snail the Fastest Snail in The World!
OTL left the snail on the screen and headed back home. It stayed there, on the screen for a mile or so and we got up to a frightening speed of thirty eight miles an hour!

Holly said that must be a record, a snail doing thirty eight miles an hour, without a seat belt on!

It soon crawled under the windscreen wiper blade where it stayed all the way home!

The Missus was getting all excited 'cos she has some cards due to be shown on TV, so, we have all got to sit in front of the TV and go Oooooh! and Aaaaah! and Fantabulossa! and Wunderfool! When the presenter picks them up to show the audience!

I must admit, I fell asleep half way through!

Lunchtime it was back down the beach again and this time it was sort of sunny with a bit of cloud.

Holly tried to mug a couple of Two Legs who were having lunch on the Sea Wall but they told her to 'Go Away!'

So Holly did, but not until she had done a wee in front of them!

Didn't want a Sarnie anyway!
OTL spotted a bright yellow, black ringed caterpillar. He said it was a Cinnabar Moth Caterpillar.

The Cinnabar Moth looks a bit like a Spotted Burnett moth but instead of red spots it has red streaks down the wing.

OTL spent the afternoon putting a couple of new Roof Vents in the caravan, one over the bed and the other in the bathroom, so now it's all bright and ready for the holiday!

Not sure what is for dinner tonight but Holly and I pigged out on Ox Heart today, so we won't be so demanding when they sit down to eat, well, not much!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
