The Woofermobile goes to the menders!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret!

It's been a bit of a strange one today.

Old Two Legs was up at five this morning, a whole hour earlier than normal!

He had breakfast and had cleaned May's cage before we headed off to the beach!

We had seen the sun come up and the red sky as we travelled down to the beach and by the time we got there it was all yellow!

It's a Sun Kissed Ferret!
I was trying to decide should I go in for a dip but OTL said if I did I'd have to stay at home while he and Holly went out!

I wasn't going to have that!

So I just had a little paddle when OTL was looking the other way!

To bathe, or not to bathe, that is the question!
Back home we were in and out like a shot. The Missus took the Woofermobile while OTL, Holly and I glided along in the big car!

About three quarters of an hour later we pulled up at the menders where OTL had got the car from and while we waited, OTL 'Booked it In'!

Seems that after two thousand miles or so it had to have its 'first Service' which OTL reckons is a change of oil and maybe screw the nuts down on the engine!

After that it was back home again to let Fred and Wendy out of their cage for a 'Rampage' while OTL got into 'Poo Shovelling Mode'!

Both Fred and Wendy love a game with the brown paper shopping bags 'cos they make a super noise when you give them a good scratch with your claws!

OTL puts the ferrets in the bag then dives in to tickle their tummies!

Great fun!

Come lunchtime we headed off to the beach again in the big car, walkies in style!

Mind you, it didn't last long. just as we were settling down to a 'Dig and Whizz' OTL got a telephone call.

Oh Gawd! He has got the phone out, that means trouble!
Seems one of his customers was in urgent need of some stuff that OTL 'Engineers' for them but they wanted it up in the north of Scotland by Monday!

That was it, back home we went and OTL went to work! I mean, it is Friday afternoon when everything should be slowing down and there he is, working!

I'm glad I'm a Woofer!

Well, in the end he managed to get it off to the carriers in time and then it was a rush to get down to the menders to pick up the Woofermobile!

So much traffic on the road! It took ages to get down there but in the end we made it before they shut for the weekend.

So, here we are back home and pounding away at the keyboard!

There is always something for a woofer to do!

Have a good weekend!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

  1. I was waiting for your post and here you are starting with that really yellow looking world, good you had an early start. The Woofermobile all oiled and screwed down, that's good, we don't want you loosing any screws now do we? OTL having to do extra work, still it keeps him out of mischief and the carriers busy, hope it reaches Scotland by Monday, extra Brownie Points. The brown bag sounds ferret fun, do they still play in the ping pong balls? If it is dry tomorrow perhaps you will get your swim, by the way, you haven't mentioned the stranded boat again, here we are wondering and waiting, waiting and wondering and no news. Have a good doggy weekend and enjoy Archies' company tomorrow, make a big fuss of him and his mum. xxxxx

  2. Evening maties down by the seaside with the yellow sun. Poor OTL, wot a busy day he's had, you're right, his customers should wait or order earlier. Fancy making him work on a Friday afternoon when he should be slowing down for the weekend. Lovely pictures today. Miss May looks well sunny. Glad the woofermobile is back home and serviced. Well my mum is coming down tomorrow, I'm staying with my boy and Mrs boy, I'm in charge. My mum is a bit cross with one of our neighbours, they had a party last night and one of their silly guests crumbled up a cork and chucked it over our fence, well I had a sniff and a taste and ate a bit until my mum found out. My mum went round there and I could hear she was very cross cos she's worried it might give me a grumbly tum, she's spoken to the vet who says that it should pass thru but to keep an eye on me, so my boy and the other next door neighbour will keep an eye on me and take me down to see the vet if I need to go. I hope that my mum gets to have a cuddle with you and pass on my very best sniffs and wags. I expect I will cry just a little bit to get some extra cuddles off of Mrs boy. My mum says that if OTL brings you down to the village hall, she might have a little snifter for him. Right I'd better go do my patrol cos my mum is going to bed early tonight. Love, licks, wags and sniffs to you all from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx
