All we want is some wind!

Hi Woofers!

Us Woofers are back again! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

If there was one day when we could have done with some serious wind it was today!

We have tried to make our own wind today, we started of by blowing when we got to the beach but it didn't seem to have much success 'cos the misty fog was still there!

Well, that didn't work!
Holly suggested that we get Archie Babe down 'cos he has the ability to 'Raise The Wind' , well that's what Auntie Elaine says!

I did remind Holly that there was the problem of the six berries that have yet to resolved and if Archie was to let rip we could end up with a 'Gun Fight at Grain' situation!

So, that was it, we decided to leave the weather alone and wait for the wind to arrive on its own!

Mind you, Eric did say that he sometimes gets a 'Funny Tummy' and manages to 'Raise the Wind!' but Miss May said he was more 'Substance' than 'Quantity'!

Small but powerful!

We left the beach and headed for home.

We found Fred and Wendy all tucked up together and when we told them about the wind they said that there was only place to be on a day like today..........

Cuddled up in bed!

Lunchtime we stopped off at the Village Hall to say 'Hello' to the Allhallows Croppers who were having their Christmas Party. Holly and I said 'Hello' to them all and then went 'Hunting Food'!

We had some fun sorting out the 'Mini Sausages' and Holly even found a Pork Pie!

We couldn't hang about 'cos Old Two Legs had got our lunch ready at home, so, more food!

Let's hope that we all get some wind tonight, well, except OTL 'cos when he gets the wind we all know about it!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Evening little maties down on the foggy beach. Oh I would love to come and visit and blow the fog away for you. I didn't want to go out on my walk today so I sat down and refused to budge. My mum got a bit worried about me then, so off I went to see my favourite nurse and have my butt checked and they made an appointment for me to go back this afternoon to see the vet. I got stabbed and I've got these huge tablets to take, they're the size of dinner plates. The vet reckons my tum is making some gurgling noises, my mum can't hear them. I did a poo this morning and there was some bits of the berries in it but my mum reckons there's more to come, the vet thinks they're between my tum and my bum and slowly moving down so I better not get wind or I might just knock someone over. It does look very foggy where you are, it's been very foggy here as well. Good job the ferrets haven't got very long leads or OTL wouldn't be able to see them at the end of the lead. Sounds like you did some good muggings at the crop xmas party, then to go home and get more scoff, well that is a lucky day. Did Wendy and Freddie stay home tucked up in their bed, I wouldn't blame them if they did. Well I've got to go swallow another dinner plate so I best put my best paw forward. Have a lovely evening, oh did you get a doggie bag brought home last night? Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  2. Sorry I am late only we went for a Christmas dinner with the Kite Club, the idea was eat at 2pm so fly kites from midday well there was no wind and plenty of fog so we drank tea and ate Christmas Stollen until it was time to eat! Lovely meal but no kite saw the light of day. I would have thought that you could have demanded Miss Wendy get herself awake and give the fog a good blasting and Archie is too well equipped for blasting at the moment. He does exaggerate with those pills as big as dinner plates, just how small are the dinner plates "up north"? Glad you found some nice muggings at the Crop with lots of oohs and arrrs I bet. Now to look for Sunday's Diary before I start dinner, pork, soy, garlic and ginger noodles if you are interested with a few carrots. Don't tell Holly about the carrots. xxxxxx
