Auntie Chris Visits and Prince gets home!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a super day it has been. First of all the sun has been shining but there was still a bit of wind coming in off the North Sea which managed to knock a couple of degrees off the temperature scale and the sea mist hung around until the mid afternoon.but that didn't worry us too much!

Come to think on it, we haven't seen Sheerness for a good few days now!

No, it's not a ship!
As we headed back to the car we came across a monster lurking in the grass! Holly and I gave it a really good woofing and Holly even said she would go and bite it's tail if it carried on looking at us!

OK, who is first to sort it out?
Old Two Legs reckons it's a balloon but we were not sure, so we stayed away! That was until the wind blew it down the hill and onto the beach where it was attacked by the incoming tide and carried away to torment Southend on Sea!

Freddy and Wendy Enjoyed their run and even Freddy managed to jog up to the top of the hill before collapsing and demanding a carry to the start of the 'Ferret Track'!

We met up with Poppy and Boo and Bryn who said that yesterday morning at six young Prince was found on his front door step, all wet and damp and covered in bracken and grass and mud and other stuff you get when you have been out hunting Nargles!

Still, it was clever of him to find his own way home, and at night!

We reckon he was in deep poo and could be kept on his lead for the next month or so!

The price us woofers pay for having a fun time!

When we got home we got told that Auntie Chris was visiting The Missus for a gas, as they do!

At lunchtime we headed off to the beach again but with May and Eric this time, and, Auntie Chris who wanted to visit the 'Famous Beach'!

There were a few new sniffs on the beach and even TM was interested!

I wonder wot that sniffs like?
Eric and May were jogging all the way back to the car 'cos there was still a chill in the air and the sun hadn't yet managed to peek through the mist yet.

While we were sniffing both May and Eric enjoyed a digging contest on the beach! Miss May won 'cos she did a 'Nose Dive' just like Holly Chops does!

We got banned from the office this afternoon 'cos Eric was still in Hyper Mode and had to be let out of the cage to rampage around the office. Miss May joined him and managed to fall into the rubbish bin in the office. Luckily it was just full of paper and plastic packaging, so she didn't hurt herself!

Holly and I have spent most of the afternoon catching up on our 'Snooze Time' so we will be ready for the evenings fun of mugging OTL!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  2. Evening little maties down by the seaside. Well we are all very relieved to hear that young Prince found his way home. Sounds like he had a right adventure but he must have got a bit scared and he must have been hungry cos I bet he missed his scoff time. He was very clever to find his way home and very lucky as well cos there are lots of cars about. I bet his TL's were over the moon that he came home just a bit dirty, they'll probably tell him off but give him a big cuddle. I think they will probably keep him on his lead as well. Sounds like you've had a busy day, down on the beach and entertaining Chris, I bet she enjoyed her walk with you all. It's been lovely and sunny here and it did warm up a bit this afternoon when the wind died down and the sun was out. Right, now, about this colt thingy. My mum has picked it up and she said it's in the garage but I haven't seen her try to sneak any scoff out to it. I hope it's not hungry like wot I was when she got home from work. Now my mum is a bit confuddled, she says she's looked all over it for an ash tray and there isn't one ........ now who ever heard of a horse with an ash tray. My mum reckons it's an important part, almost as important as the engine, so I don't know wot she's going to do cos there just isn't one, she said she looked in the manuel (he's from Barcelona) and he hasn't got one. Anyways, back to more important things, it's almost scoff time so I'd better go do a quick patrol of the grounds then come in for my scoff. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxx

  3. Hello again, hope Eric has calmed down now and poor Miss May finding the bottom of the rubbish bin, it's a good thing OTL hadn't put any beer cans in there or sticky sweets..... or a left over Happy Meal. A great fun time with a visitor on your beach, I wonder if TM found anything interesting, I don't know if it is the wrong time of year of crabs. This time next week all the little TLs will be about so don't say I didn't warn you. So pleased that Prince found his way home even though he was wet and muddy, bet his TLs were relieved. That colt of Archie's sounds a bit strange with no ashtray and being Spanish and seemily not needing food, I hope his mum takes a picture soon, perhaps OTL could send he/she a food parcel. I hope Sheerness turns up soon, gone AWOL like Prince, is there no smell of kebab from over the mist? Have a nice lazy Tuesday, has TM unpacked your pressies yet? xxxxxx
