It's Freddy Boys Birthday Today!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy (the Birthday Boy) and Eric de Ferret!

Well, what a fun day it's been, first thing this morning Freddy was first up at the cage door and got himself a big 'Birthday Dollop' of Ferretone! Then he had a cuddle with Old Two Legs and we all sang his 'Happy Birthday Song'!

We can sing it again 'cos he has just woken up, ready, after seven.

One, Seven!

Happy Birthday to Fred,
Fried eggs on your head,
A Sticky Chicken for dinner,
Happy Birthday to Fred!

We reckon he is five years old, plus or minus a bit 'cos we can't be too sure 'cos he came to us via the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue and Freddy isn't too good at counting!

No matter how old he is, he is still loved by us all, even with his big tummy!

Freddy just loves a game of chase with Wendy but his favourite game is 'Tickle Tums' which he plays with OTL!

OTL rolls him onto his back and then tickles him under his chin and all the way down to his tail. Freddy just can't stop laughing and at the same time he tries to grab OTL's finger for a 'Pretend Chew'!

Down on the beach it was all quiet 'cos we were a little early and OTL gets a chance to play with the sun rise!

Looks good enough for a swim!

 Miss May was rolling around all over the place and she dug a good sized hole!

Just what is that woofer doing?

 Holly was watching May and decided she would have a dig and a roll as well. First she made sure she wasn't anywhere near the water, well you don't want water sloshing into your well dug hole do you?

Holly Holes are the best!

 Anyone can dig holes but not everyone can get in for a swim!

There is nothing better than an early morning dip!

 Young Eric was having fun ferreting around in the grass looking for any new sniffs. He has been playing games with OTL, every time he gets out of the cage in the morning he goes on a rampage around the office and climbs all over the place, this morning OTL found him on top of the guitar hanging up in OTL's office!

No swimming for me, I look too good!

 Lunchtime Freddy really had a special run on the beach. He was allowed to do a bit of sunbathing then he got a carry up to the Sea Wall where he had a sniff before getting carried again!

On the football pitch he very gently strolled along then he got another carry up to the car where a bowl of water was waiting for him in the back of the car!

I could get used to this life style!

 OTL had to go out this afternoon so Holly and I stood by the bedroom window waiting for him to come home.

Now he is back we are off to mug him for his dinner!
