Hi Woofers!
Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!
Wot a freezingly cold, wind up yer tail day it has been!
When we went out this morning the ferrets refused to get down from Old Two Legs arms until we were 50 yards from the car!
Even then it was a quick dash and as soon as OTL stopped the ferrets ran back to him, jumped into his arms and told him to 'Hurry Up'!
They can get so demanding!
Lunchtime Wendy and Freddy refused to wake up or even get out from under the blanket where they were snoozing! So that was it, just us and OTL to brave the North Wind!
When we got back OTL had to go out to do some work at a customers place, checking their radio system. When he came back we gave him the 'Woofers Welcome' with a big wet licking behind his ears!
There was some other work he had to do but half way through it he got a telephone call from Nikon!
Seems they have run out of rubber covers for his camera 'cos it is so old and they have stopped making spares for it!
Oh dear! OTL was not a happy puppy 'cos that size camera was just right for sticking in the ferret bag when we go out walkies and it also fitted the astronomy telescope just right. So, after discussions with the lady on the phone, OTL found that they offer reconditioned cameras at 'reasonable prices'.
Now OTL is fond of 'reasonable prices' but the first couple of cameras he felt were not reasonable enough to tempt him!
So, down the list he went and found a camera that would do what he wanted and at a price that didn't make him cry, too much!
So, the lady has gone off to make sure they have a camera in the 'Reconditioned Stock' drawer and she will send an email later next week.
OTL says that it will have to be his Christmas Present for this year but he says that we can have a go with it if we are good puppies!
We got chicken today! OTL has been promised a curry tonight, so that should keep us all warm!
Tomorrow they are talking about freezing weather and ice and frost!
Mind you, it's not all bad, they didn't say anything about snow!

Yo maties. Poor OTL, he'll be potless very soon with the xmas presents and the camera. Hope the lady can sort him out with something suitable and not break the bank. It has been very cold today, I was quite glad to snuggle up in my bed when my mum went to work, at least I didn't have to go out in the cold. It nearly froze my tail off this morning when I went out for my walk, I wanted to go home and snuggle up in the warm. I'm off to the groomers tomorrow morning, I'm not looking forward to being wetted and having my hair cut, I need it to keep me warm while it's so cold. I don't blame Wendy and Freddy for not coming out from under their blanket at lunchtime. I'm pleased to hear you got some chicken for your dinner and maybe you'll get some naan bread dipped in the curry sauce to keep you warm this evening. My boy is off work for the next 4 days so I'll have someone to snuggle with when my mum goes to work and we can have some wrestling matches as well. My grumblies seem to have gone although my mum got me two tubes of bung up stuff this morning, she was crying when she got home, she said she thought she'd been mugged. My mum is a bit snotty, I wonder if the bung up medicine will bung her up so she doesn't keep sneezing and having her nose running, think I might go and suggest it to her. ReplyDeleteSo a new camera for Christmas, well new to him, is he only having one, he needs two! It has been freezing today and a cold wind up your tail is not what the doctor ordered and the ferrets have the right idea. Poor Archie having his hair cut and getting tubes of bung for Christmas, don't you feel sorry for the little man, I think his next idea will be trying to defect to Kent with the hope of better conditions. Stay warm tomorrow things are going to get even more chilly, hope the chicken is still on the menu. xxxxxx
