We get to look in the door!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, it has finally arrived, the 1st of December, the first day of Winter!

We were out a bit later today but it didn't help 'cos the wind was blowing from the north and it was COLD!

At one time I thought I was weeing icicles!

The ferrets decided to stay in the ferret bag and have a cuddle with Old Two Legs left hand 'cos it was like a hot water bottle! Mind you, OTL got them out as we got close to the car but they both rushed back to the bag and climbed back in!

When we got home they had a rampage around the house ducking and dooking all over the place and saying that the inside of the house is certainly preferable to a cold sandy beach!

OTL got confirmation that they had found a camera so he had to get his credit card out and pay the nice lady on the other end of the telephone line.

Poor OTL didn't know whether to laugh or cry so he just had a little snivel and a look at the instruction manual and in the end he cheered up! Now he has something to look forward to on Monday!

Lunchtime comes and there is blue sky outside but we don't get caught out on that one, OTL gets wrapped up in his big warm coat and pulled the ear flaps down on his woolly hat!

It was still cold but the ferrets decided to stay in the bag until we got back to the football field where the trees and bushes blocked the wind. Both Freddy and Wendy enjoyed a little jog across the field until they got to the car, it was then that they jumped into OTL's arms again and snuggled down until they got back into the travelling cage where OTL had put some big soft blankets.

Back home it was time for our treat!

Day one of the Advent Calender!

OTL made a bit of a song and dance getting the wrapping off and opening the first door, then there was the inside which was all sealed up as well! Finally we found out how to get in, poke it with your claw!

Inside were three little bone shaped biscuits looking the same colour as Choc Chip Cookies, but smaller and looking bone shaped as I said before.

They didn't last too long, Holly and I chomped them down in no time at all!

Now, what is behind door number two?

The ferrets offered to dig into the back of the box to find out for us but we reckon they might just have a nibble and then run off not only with the treat but both boxes!

We'll let you know tomorrow!

Bye bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Hasn't it been cold again today, I've spent most of the day being snuggled up under a blanket on the sofa with my mum, she's feeling a bit snotty and after going to work this morning she decided to have a lazy day. The only problem is, when she sneezes, I get jolted and it disturbs my snooze. My boy had to open my calendar cos my mum couldn't get into it. There was 3 little bone shaped biscuits in mine as well, my mum swapped them for the treat I can eat and she said she'll give the ones from the calendar to my woofer mates who go up the shop to see her when they buy their newspapers with their TL's, she said she'll tell them the treats are from me. I don't mind as long as I get the same amount as wots in my calendar. Good news about the camera for OTL, just a shame it's going to cost him some of his hard earned. I told you my boy went for a walk last night, well, when he got home, he'd been to the town and he arrived back home with a brand new hat to keep his noddle warm, it's got furry ear flaps to stop them getting frostbite. He reckons the hat is just the job for when me and him are wrestling as well as it means I can't lick his ears and make them wet when I've got him on the ground. We had a good try out of wrestling last night and he didn't have wet ears when we finished. Can't OTL find an old pair of thermal socks for the ferrets to wear on their walks, if he cuts the toe bit out it will be like little coats ........ how funny would that be, ferrets in coats. Has Mrs TM managed to mend her curtain yet? She's got plenty of glue she could slap on, a bit of glitter and bobs yer uncle. Well I'd better go back and look after my snotty mum. Have a lovely evening all and hope you get some good muggings. Can't wait to see door no2. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and Mr Nipper xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Well it is certainly chilly in Greatstone but the school hall was warm and we had a nice natter to other motorhomers. Today we are having soup at lunch time and jacket potatoes for supper plus music and games, one involving walking on paper plates, I think I will sit and watch that one. You are one for exaggeration weeing icicles is a bit over the top! Mind you it is cold and now it is really winter the weather people can tell us that it is cold and not just "cooler" like they have been saying. Archie's idea about coats for the ferrets is wonderful, what a clever chap, OTL must have some worn out socks with all the walking he does. Has TM managed to mend the curtain.......probably not.........Holly must take some of her pocket money to buy a new one, don't let her take yours. Hope the new camera arrives on time and that he is pleased with it, expecting even more spectacular photos. How is the Annual Photo going, so looking forward to receiving it xxxxxx
