Brass Monkey Time Again!

Yo Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Last night it was all warm and Spring like but today when we woke up, brrrr, the cold weather had reached us!

We should have stayed in bed like wot Archie Babe is doing and cuddled up but Old Two Legs said we need the exercise and if we didn't, he did!

Let's hope Archie Babes sitting on Auntie Elaine's head has worked, you see it is a well known woofer healing trick that us woofers know and keep to ourselves. Ferrets do the same thing but they are not as warm as us woofers!

We got to the Sea Wall and the wind was terrible, it brought rain lashing in that suddenly changed to snow and threatened to blow our tails off!

There is snow in them there clouds!

Holly and I got halfway through the walk and decided having done our business we were heading back to the car and home!

Poor OTL got left behind!

We knew that OTL planned to give us both a wash and haircut but after getting home the elecamatricity power failed! No elecamatricity means no shower means no hair clippers means no haircut!

Yahoooooooo!

The only down side was that OTL couldn't have a cup of tea and he had to take the camping stove and cans of gas up to the village hall so The Missus and her glue slapping ladies can have a hot tea or coffee!

No thought about poor freezing OTL and us woofers, no heating, no warm drink and OTL's home made soup had icebergs floating on the top, so he had to put up with a marmite sarnie!

Half way through the afternoon the power came on again and after we had chipped the icicles off his nose OTL settled down to watch the rugby!

Half way through the rugby he got the call to pick up TM, so bang goes his afternoon plans!

One good thing, there's not much snow about, well, not down here, just enough to make the fields a bit muddy!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

  1. What did you do to make the power go off, was it your fault that our neighbour got a call out, I don’t suppose he minds because he is paid for being on “Call Out” and then paid more if he actually has to go out, it just means he can’t have a lager while he might be called upon. Michael said it couldn’t possibly snow as it was so warm yesterday and he worked outdoors without a jumper, the forecasters were right and Daisys’ Concert was cancelled and money refunded. We just hope that it is rescheduled for when we can go. Your coats grow a bit more, that’s good, poor OTL with icebergs on his soup, you do know how to exaggerate and the glue flingers and slappers were rescued by a knight with a shiny gas cylinder. No Tv or lights just a time to eat and sleep, tomorrow’s another day so maybe light, Tv and fun. Hope Archie has behaved today and his mum is feeling better xxxxxx

  2. Yo maties. Well it's snowed again here, I don't like snow. It was snowing when I got up and it's snowing now, wot a good thing I'm on guard duty in the morning and I don't have to go out to work like wot my mum does, although my mum did tell her boss that if it was snowing tomorrow she wasn't coming in unless she gets a hot bacon roll like wot he makes for the lady who works on Saturday. My ministerings of my mum worked, she's now vertical after being horizontal yesterday. She says she's feeling quite a bit better today and she was very pleased that I kept her warm all day and all night. Now it wasn't very comfortable for me having to sit on her bony head but you know me, I'm a martyr to the cause. Poor Mrs Sue, wot a shame that the concert was cancelled, I have my paws crossed that it's on again soon. Poor OTL, fancy fighting his way to the village hall and having to have icebergs on his soup. Didn't the ladies offer him a hot cuppa? I mean I know it probably would have had glitter on but it's the least they could do. Mind couldn't OTL have made a cuppa or warmed his soup up in the caravan? I'm pleased to hear that you got out of having your bath and groom, well done, tell me how you managed to turn off the elecamatricity, I must see if I can do it when I go to the groomers on Thursday next week. I hope you all stay warm and cosy this evening and manage to get some decent hot scoff. A pair of them huskie woofers would come in handy if this snow keeps coming. Happy muggings, love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
